Hyperlinking Your URL Addresses into Blog Comments and TPT Descriptions

This blog entry will probably pertain mostly to bloggers and TPT sellers, however, everyone is welcome. =)

I recently started participating in the Seller's Forum on TPT looking for selling tips. One of the recommendations was to hyperlink other related products and other sites you may want your followers to visit easily. Well, I have always written my Facebook and blog URL addresses, but could not figure out to hyperlink it. (Am I the last to figure out how to do this???)

Well, if you have been following my blog, you know I enjoy researching on the internet for my solutions. In my search I found www.easyhyperlinks.com. It is just so easy to use (it actually has a 7 minute tutorial on the site), but I thought I would quickly run you through it.

STEP ONE: Where do you want your readers to go when they click on your hyperlink?

STEP TWO: Go to www.easyhyperlinks.com

STEP THREE: Copy and paste the site you want your readers to go to in the box labeled 'Target URL:'.  For example: I want my readers to go to my Facebook page, so I paste the address in the box.

STEP FOUR:  Next, you will write what you want the text, that is going to be hyperlinked, to say. I wanted it to say 'Facebook,' so I typed that into the 'Display Text' box as seen below.

STEP FIVE: Click on the 'Construct Link' box, and it is going to fill in the bottom boxes for you. It will look something like this:

STEP SIX: You can test out your link by clicking on the text found ih the 'Test your link' box. This will open up the link in another window, so you will have to come back to the original window once you have tested. YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP. I use it once in a while, but overall, I tend to skip it.

STEP SEVEN: You will now highlight the information in the box labeled 'Your HTML code:' and COPY IT.

STEP EIGHT: Now go to the place where you want the link to be. For example, I wanted to link my Facebook page into my product descriptions on TPT. You will then PASTE it where you want it to show up. It will look something like this:

STEP NINE: You are DONE! Post it and will now look something like this:

Now when the reader clicks on the hyperlink it will take them to the site.

TAADAA!

I can't wait to hear if this post helped you out! Good luck!
