FREEBIE – Character Traits Worksheet

I am linking up this post with a few ‘linky parties’ for FREEBIE Friday, FREEBIE Monday, and Thrifty Thursday. I LOVE FREEBIES (and love sharing them just as much). Today I am sharing with you my Character Traits Worksheet.

What I especially love about this FREEBIE is that it makes a good activity for teachers, as well as, parents. It could be used while reading a book, a response to a movie, or as a reflection of someone in your life.

In the upper grades at school, we read several novels a year. Some we read together in class, while others the students read independently and then have class discussions on them. We definitely study the characters and learn much about them through their actions in the story. This week I went back and revamped my Character Traits Worksheet.   I use this worksheet a couple of times a year as part of our character traits lessons.  The students illustrate what they believe the character looks like by using information from the text. Then they list several character traits, and write supporting text evidence along with them.

I have just uploaded them onto Teachers Pay Teachers for FREE for all of you! I hope you enjoy it, and hope you are able to leave feedback.  Please feel free to pay it forward, and share with all your friends, and visit the link below to see more great FREEBIES!
